Graduates, to owe more than £100,000, actually paying double the fees borrowed. The Student Loans Company hold claim to a 4.6% interest on a loan; that’s an increase of 75%, higher than any mortgage or loan in the UK. The student debt is set to rise higher still unless the HE reform is abolished. NUS and UCU say “let’s fight back!”.
